Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers has identified Swansea City striker, Wilfried Bony as a summer target to become his third big forward next season.
Swansea have slapped a £20 million price tag on the Ivorian to put off potential suitors, but this seems to have not been the case as Liverpool are willing to meet the demands of the club and the player alike.
It is understood that Bony is very keen on playing the Champions League, something which Liverpool have qualified for next season. The Red’s will use this prospect and tempt the player to join the team next season.
Swansea are likely to let their talisman go if the right price is met, and will want any deal to be done before the World Cup in order to let the club look for other potential replacements.
Rodger’s is keen to provide Suarez and Sturridge with some competition as Liverpool prepare for a big year next season.
Bony has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Roma, but it seems Liverpool are ready to make a move for the big Ivorian.
