Liverpool agree to pay £43.7m for Monaco midfielder Fabinho.

The Reds are closing in on €50m deal for Monaco midfielder Fabinho.

The English giants have agreed a fee of up to €50million (£43.7millon) to buy midfielder Fabinho from Monaco.

Almost all the reliable sources including Sky Sports are reporting that the deal is almost done.

Negotiations for the Brazilian went on about quietly to avoid distractions.

Now, Fabinho will replace Emre Can who looks set to leave the club after not signing a new contract.

The 24 year old Brazilian star has been wanted by a host of Europe’s leading clubs.

He was previously been linked with Monaco’s league rivals Paris Saint-Germain and then Liverpool’s arch rivals Manchester United.

Looks like the Anfield outfit have won the race against Manchester United to sign Fabinho.
