Agent is reportedly in talks with Liverpool
Radamel Falcao looks set to leave Old Trafford this summer in a shock move to rivals Liverpool for an estimated £21.5 million pound.
Falcao, 29, is currently on loan at Manchester United from Monaco and was expected to return to France in summer after failing to impress at Old Trafford managing just 4 goals in 23 appearances this season.
His lack-lustre performances have been put down to an injury he sustained just before last summer’s world cup which has left him lacking a yard to two in pace.
It is rumoured that the Columbian striker is keen on remaining in England after his loan expires and it is felt Anfield is where he will go after reports emerged that his agent has begun talks with the club.
Strikers needed in Merseyside
Liverpool look set to get rid of Balotelli, Lambert and Borini at the end of the season which opens up the door for new strikers at the club and Falcao seems to be at the top of Brendan Rodgers list.
This switch for Falcao would mean a complete turnaround for the player, who at the start of the season said that he would fight to stay at United for many years and become a legend at the club.
