The Reds are allegedly waiting on a work permit
According to the Express, Liverpool are on the verge of signing Benfica and Brazil under 23 international forward Anderson Talisca.
The 22-year old has apparently already held talks with the Anfield club, and claims on social media suggest that the Football Association have receive a work permit application for him.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp continues to overhaul his squad ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League season, meaning Talisca could move to Merseyside sooner rather than later.
