The Reds hopeful for free transfer
Liverpool are reportedly confident that they have signed Danny Ings from Burnley for a free-transfer at the end of the season.
Relegation-Threatened Burnley
The 23-year-old has a lot of admirers after his debut season in the Premier League, but with Burnley seemingly going down to the Championship and with his contract expiring this Summer, it’s looking likely that the star-striker will be off come the end of the season.
Burnley now need to win all their remaining games and hope other teams slip up in order to avoid the drop, but their inability to survive in the top-flight is set to lose them their star asset.
Ings Favours Liverpool Move
According to reports, Ings will join Liverpool ‘‘barring any last-minute hitch’, as the striker prefers a move to Anfield over Old Trafford.
Due to his age and Liverpool being a Premier League team, The Reds will have to pay a compensation fee for the deal, but it’s believed it will only be between £3-£5million.
