He could face England next week!
Liverpool flop Iago Aspas has been named in the Spain squad after Diego Costa was forced to drop out injured.
Aspas played for Liverpool in their 2013/14 season and had a terrible time, scoring just once in 15 appearances. However, he’s got his career back on track at home in Spain, with Celta Vigo.
Aspas was sent on loan to Sevilla in the summer of 2014. Sevilla triggered their option to buy him for £4.4million and then quickly sold him on to Celta Vigo.
After Saturday’s qualifier in Granada against Macedonia, Spain travel to Wembley to face England on Tuesday night, which could see Aspas line up against the 3 Lions.
