Liverpool are ready to make a shock move for Arsenal starlet, Chuba Akpom, with his contract set to expire at the Emirates Stadium in the Summer.
The teenager is one of Arsenal’s top starlets and has made four appearances in the first-team this season after being promoted from the youth squad at the beginning of the campaign.
The 19-year-old sees his contract expire in the next few months and despite the club offering him a new deal, Akpom has still not committed and still wants to keep his options open.
Due to the Bosman Ruling, Dutch side FC Twente have already offered Akpom a pre-contract, but it’s thought that he doesn’t want that move.
It’s believed Arsenal officials have offered Akpom a new deal, but as of yet, nothing has been signed.
