Klopp planning reunion with Dortmund star
Liverpool have opened talks with Borussia Dortmund over signing midfielder Mario Gotze.
It’s thought that Klopp wants a reunion with the midfielder, with the pair having history together at Dortmund.
Gotze moved from Dortmund to Bayern in 2013, but after struggling for playing time, chose to go back there over a move to Liverpool last summer.
However, he still isn’t getting the playing time he wants, and a move to Anfield could now once again be on the cards.
Liverpool were keen to sign the playmaker last summer but a lack of Champions League football cost them, but it could be a different story this year, with the Reds well and truly in the hunt for a top 4 finish.
