Liverpool are ready to make a move for PSG midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi.
According to reports, the Reds are ready to make an £18million offer for the Argentine. The move could go ahead as PSG are looking to sell the winger in order to fund their move for Real Madrid’s Angel di Maria.
The French side need to offload players in order to avoid breaking the FFP rules again, and to make sure that the proposed £63million move for Di Maria goes through.
Lavezzi, who has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield this summer, scored nine goals for the Parisian club last season, which saw them win the league title by nine points.
The Argentina ace has also been linked with a summer move to Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is an huge admirer of Lavezzi, and has been chasing the former Napoli star for the last three years.
