Liverpool are hopeful that striker, Daniel Sturridge, will be back in the first-team in January.
The Englishman picked up an injury on international duty early on in the season, but after a month out, the 25-year-old suffered a setback with a new injury, which once again, kept him out for another month.
Then Sturridge was all set for his return, ANOTHER injury hit and ruled the star out yet again.
Despite refusing to put an official return date on Sturridge’s fitness, it’s believed that January 10th against Sunderland is when Brendan Rodgers wants him back in the first-team.
Sturridge is currently in America receiving special treatment.
