Liverpool are reportedly closing in on signing Belgian World Cup star Divock Origi. The 19-year-old has attracted the attention of Brendan Rodgers after scoring the only goal in the 1-0 win over Russia which sealed a last 16 spot for his country.
The Belgian international yesterday revealed his desire to play in the Premier League and it looks likely that his wish might come true after impressing The Reds boss. It is understood that Tottenham and Arsenal are also keeping track on his progress, especially throughout the remainder of the World Cup, which starts tomorrow when Belgium playing their final group match against South Korea.
However it is believed that Liverpool will be the club that gets his signature as reports are suggesting that an £8 million bid is expected to be offered by The Reds and accepted by current side Lille.
