Liverpool will launch a summer bid for Kyriakos Papadopoulos. The defender could be available for just £5m, as he has just a year left on his current deal.
Bild is claiming that the 23-year old is interesting Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who is looking to bring in a new defender and that Papadopoulos’ time at Schalke could be drawing to a close, with the Bundesliga side having completed a permanent deal for Matija Nastasic.
He is currently out on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, where has has made just ten appearances all season.
Papadopoulos has been at Schalke since 2010 but it now appears his time in Germany could soon be up, with the Reds keen to do a deal when the transfer windows opens at the end of the season.
