Inter Milan striker linked with move away from San Siro
Liverpool are weighing up a potential January bid for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.
The Argentinian international was strongly linked with a move away from the San Siro over the summer, with Arsenal and Chelsea both interested, but he decided to stay put at Inter after Roberto Mancini told him he’d be building the squad around him.
However, Icardi has recently been dropped by the Italian, fueling speculation that he may leave the club in the near-future.
Icardi to England?
The 22-year-old was in red-hot form last season, and finished as Serie A‘s top goalscorer despite Inter’s poor season, and he’s now being linked with a move to the Premier League.
According to reports in Italy, both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur want to sign the striker and could lodge formal bids of around £25million in the New Year.
