Striker will sign new deal on Friday
Luis Suarez will sign a new deal at Barcelona on Friday, keeping him at the club until 2021.
The striker joined Barca from Liverpool in the summer of 2014, and has won 2x La Liga titles and the Champions League since arriving there.
The club have announced a £167.5million buyout clause in the new deal.
He scored 40 goals in La Liga last season and has formed a deadly relationship with his teammates Lionel Messi and Neymar, leading Barcelona’s front 3.
“FC Barcelona announce that they have reached an agreement with Luis Suarez for the extension of the player’s contract until 30 June 2021,” a statement on the club website said.
“The buy-out clause in the contract is set at €200m.”
