FC Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez, has hit out at the English media after they tried to make it look like he bit an opponent yet again.

The Uruguayan returned to England for the first time since leaving in the Summer, and after scoring a brace against Manchester City, his performances was overlooked due to replays showing Suarez coming together with Martin Demichelis.

From a certain angle, it did look like Suarez bit an opponent for the fourth time, but when the camera angle was turned around, it was clear that the striker was trying to push the defender away from him.

After seeing the response from the English media, Suarez hit out at the press claiming that they are angry due to him knocking them out of the World Cup.

‘He [Demichelis] put his hand on my throat,’ the 28-year-old told Uruguayan radio station Sport890.

‘I do not understand why they want to do this. They want to make trouble – a mountain out of a molehill.

‘They must be hurt after what I did to them in the World Cup but they forget that I played in England and they should show me some respect.’
