Luis Suarez is set to make his anticipated debut for Barcelona in Saturday’s El Clasico fixture away at Real Madrid.
Suarez is poised to return from his four month long biting ban he endured as punishment for his bite on Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, for the clash at the Bernabeu.
The striker left Liverpool in disgrace for pastures new during the summer months, with the Uruguay international signing in a £75 million transfer fee for the Spanish side.
Barcelona will be hoping that the 27 uear-old can replicate his form of last season, as Suarez netted 31 League goals from Liverpool during the 2013/14 season, as the Reds finished runners up to eventual winners’ Manchester City.
His untimely absence hasn’t effected Barcelona as much as first feared, with both Neymar and Messi providing the goods in recent weeks, looking ahead to the Clasico.
But now, Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is set to pair Suarez in the front three alongside Messi and Neymar, as the Nou Camp side look to get one over on Los Blancos in Madrid.
