Arsenal star, Lukas Podolski, has confirmed that he WILL be leaving Arsenal in the next few days.
The German international has grown frustrated at the Emirates after failing to break into the first-team, and after the arrivals of Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez, the 29-year-old’s role at the club diminished even further.
Podolski has been very open about his future and desire to play in recent weeks, telling the media he is ready to move on in order to play regular first-team football, and he has now confirmed that he will be joining Inter Milan until the end of the season.
He told reporters: “I am very happy [to be joining Inter].
“I expect so much from this adventure. I know the Italian league very well. We are aiming to qualify for the Champions League and to win in the Europa League.
“I have spoken with Mancini, I think he is a great coach.”
It’s expected that Podolski will make the loan move a permanent one over the Summer.
