The Everton star is being tracked by a number of Premier League sides
Ross Barkley has emerged as a target for Man United among a number of other Premier League clubs.
Tottenham have been the side that has been most heavily linked with the Englishman so far this summer so far. Spurs have already made a number of bids to land the midfielder, only to have them turned down.
In addition, Barkley’s demands have proven to be too much for Mauricio Pochettino’s side so far but they are unlikely to stop their pursuit of the player until he lowers his demands and they can land him.
However, they now face competition from several of their Premier League rivals.
Reports today have indicated that Man United are considering a move for Barkley, while Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the player.
Red Devils on lookout for new midfielder
Everton are unwilling to let the 23-year old leave the club, as he remains a key player for them. However, if they are able to land a replacement before the transfer window shuts, then with all this interest, they could decide to cash-in on him.
United are on the lookout for a new midfielder and believe that Barkley could prove to be a shrewd signing for them if they are unable to land other targets.
Chelsea are also keeping an eye on Barkley, as they contemplate adding another midfielder to their ranks, while Arsenal are also willing to spend big this summer and believe a move for the player could help boost their squad even more.
It looks like there could be a transfer battle on for the midfielder’s signature over the next few weeks and Everton could struggle to hold onto him.
