With PSG already having bid for the Argentine earlier this week, United will have to move quickly to ensure they don’t miss out on the player.
PSG offered the Spanish giants £48million and Manchester United look set to match that offer, having previously bid £40million to fend off interest from Arsenal and Juventus.
With Real Madrid after Monaco pair James Rodriguez and Falcao, it seems likely that they will accept PSG’s offer.
Having already missed out on Alexis Sanchez, Louis Van Gaal will no doubt be determined to get the playmaker and will soon match PSG’s bid and the future of Di Maria will be up in the air.
