According to reports, Manchester City are interesting to sign 23-year old Lille winger Nicolas Pepe. Pepe has been in terrific form for Lille this season and is one of the finest players in Ligue 1 at present. In 12 Ligue 1 matches, Pepe has scored 8 goals and has provided 7 assists.
Lille are currently 3rd in the Ligue 1 table due to Pepe’s performances. Pepe joined Lille from Angers in 2017. He has since played 51 matches for the club, scoring 22 goals and providing 12 assists.
Pepe who was born in France, has played 8 matches for Ivory Coast while scoring three goals. Manchester City already have a pretty strong attack but the addition of someone like Pepe will definitely make them lethal at the front.
However, City isn’t the only club interested in signing Pepe. Roma, Barcelona and Juventus are also keen to sign the Ivorian winger. His current value is somewhere between £35 and 44 million.
