Manchester City are keen on signing Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, and will offer up to around £25million.
The Englishman has had a horrid career as of yet, plagued with injuries, but on the field this season, he has shown some impressive development with several top-class performances for club and country.
However, with fierce competition for places in The Gunners’ midfield, Wilshere could be in line for a shock departure, and the Premier League champions are ready to make an offer over the Summer.
According to reports, City see Wilshere as a solid replacement for Yaya Toure, and they are prepared to offer around £25m for the 23-year-old.
City have brought several players from Arsenal in the past, with Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Emmanuel Adebayor the most recent trio, and with fears of homegrown players an issue at the Etihad, they may make a Summer swoop for the midfield maestro.
