Manchester City have opened talks with Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, according to reports.

The Belgium international has been in superb form so far this season for the Bundesliga side, and has already caught the eye of the Premier League champions who are keen to bring him back to England.

De Bruyne left the Premier League in January 2014 after failing to break into Jose Mourinho’s first-team, but since joining the German outfit, De Bruyne has scored 14 goals and assisted 16 more in all competitions.

The 23-year-old wasn’t given a chance at Stamford Bridge and after showing what he can do when given first-team football, Manchester City are now ready to give him a second chance in England.

However, City will face serious competition from Paris Saint-Germain as they are also showing interest in the Belgium, but the mega-rich clubs have been told to meet Wolfsburg’s ÂŁ45million estimation of the midfielder.
