City joins United in the race to sign Neymar
Neymar once again in the midst of transfer speculations after just 8 months of completing transfer to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain. PSG paid €222 million to spanish giants to sign him, making it the most expensive transfer ever.
But in recent weeks Neymar has been linked with a move away away from French club. With PSG again under performing in Europe, getting knocked by Real Madrid in the round of 16, the Brazilian is looking to move to a top flight club and test himself.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Premier League club Manchester City is willing to pay huge amount of money to bring the superstar to England. The report is angled on Neymar’s desire to play for Pep Guardiola The Spanish coach had left Barcelona the year before the Brazilian arrived at Camp Nou and so the pair have not yet worked together, but such is Guardiola’s reputation, Neymar wants a piece of the action.
Manchester United are also believed to be in the race to sign PSG Star. According to Diario Gol, Jose Mourinho wants the 26-year-old and is prepared to offer Paul Pogba in exchange.
Mundo Deportivo also claims now that Manchester United are in the race for Neymar. But PSG are ready to do anything including changing of manager and complete overhaul of the side to keep their star man in France.
