The 26-year-old, who left Arsenal for the Spanish giants in the summer of 2012, has been linked with a move back to the Premier League and his former club in recent time. Manchester United have also been credited with interest in the player’s signature, but it remains to be seen as to whether new Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal makes a move for the Cameroonian international.
The report has suggested that new Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has already told the former Gunners man that he can depart the Nou Camp in the up coming market.
And despite Arsenal having an array of talent in the middle of the park, it appears Wenger could be ready to swoop for the star once again this summer.
