Manchester United are set to make a double bid for Serie A stars, Kevin Strootman and Paul Pogba.
Louis Van Gaal admitted today that he wants to sign a midfielder in the Summer, and the AS Roma and Juventus stars are high on his wishlist.
According to reports, Van Gaal is ready to spend near to £100million on the duo, but if failing to sign both, the Dutchman will try and sign at least one of them.
When asked about his Summer plans, Van Gaal said: ‘I’m looking for balance and I need it in midfield.
‘No [I don’t have all the players I need], but I’ve already said that. Every game that I was pleased with something, we have played parts of the game at a level where I think: ‘OK we have to [strengthen].’
Pogba is seen as the expensive option, valued at £75million, whilst Strootman is valued around £25m.
