According to reports the Red Devils have now entered the race for Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi.
The Italy international has become a target after netting 14 goals in all competitions for Fiorentina this season.
Chelsea Football Club are apparently also keeping tabs on Bernardeschi, according to TransferMarketWeb.
A lot of this has been re-sparked due to reports of Antonio Conte recently telling a Chelsea player he can leave if not committed to the club.
However, it’s also reported that Bernardeschi is in talks with Fiorentina over a new contract.
But, then ANOTHER report says he is set to leave the club.
Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport said only last month that Blues boss Antonio Conte has drawn up £4.2m-per-season after tax deal to present the 23-year-old.
That deal is said to be still on the table at Stamford Bridge and with the prize money Chelsea just received, Conte can afford to be flexible.
Manchester United are also said to have a deal in the works and are set to counter the Blues offer, but it’s not confirmed.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Juventus are also said to be interested in Bernardeschi.
However, he did rule out a move to Juventus.
Having said all that Bernardeschi is under contract at Fiorentina until 2019
