Frenchman is wanted by United and Chelsea
Reports claim that Antoine Griezmann’s proposed move to Old Trafford is now looking unlikely to go through.
The French winger has been on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs for some time now but Louis van Gaal‘s side are thought to be leading the race.
Reports even claim that the Red Devils are weighing up a £57m move for the highly sought after attacker after failing to land Pedro.
Griezmann Not for Sale
However, according to La Liga expert Guillem Balague, Atletico Madrid will not be selling the 24 year-old for some time.
He told Sky Sports: “Neither Atletico Madrid nor Griezmann expect any offer arriving in the next few days and Atletico have no intention whatsoever to let him go.”
In an attempt to deter any bids from European clubs for their star man, Atletico increased his buy-out clause from £43m to £56m.
