Mario Balotelli could be in for a swift return to Italy, after Lazio had made a loan bid for the Liverpool striker.
Balotelli, aged 23, has failed to really settle at Anfield, with the stiker yet to open his Premier League goalscoring account for Liverpool this season.
And reports in Italy suggest that Lazio are willing to releave Balotelli of his Liverpool nightmare, by taking him to Rome on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Lazio have even offered to pay around £2 million for a potential loan period, with fellow Serie A sides Juventus and Parma also keen on the Italian international.
Balotelli only signed for Liverpool this summer, in a £16 million transfer deal from AC Milan.
