Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli could be on his way back to Italy in January after Milan Vice-president refuses to rule out a move for the out-of-form striker.
When asked about the potential return for Mario, Milan Vice-president, Javier Zanetti said;
‘A Balotelli return? We all know Mario is a great player but I think it’s difficult because he only just arrived at Liverpool,’ Zanetti told Sky Italia.
‘In any case, after our game against Lazio [December 21] we will hold meetings to see what we can do and what is needed in terms of the [transfer] market.’
Mario Balotelli who left Italy for Liverpool for £16million pound has found life difficult to adjust to at Anfield, and has only scored twice in 15 appearances for the club, which has prompted rumours that the troubled striker will want a move away from Liverpool.
It was reported several weeks ago that the reason for his dip in form was mainly due to him missing his daughter who still resides in Italy. If this is this case then it only seems logical that he will want a move back to Italy as soon as possible.
