Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is ready to bid for Burnley striker Danny Ings this summer, in an attempt to strengthen his attack.
Hughes has watched the striker on several ocassions, and eas present as Ings smashed in his 20th goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-1 win against arch rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Ings enters the final year of his contract, and Hughes is keen to sign the in-form centre forward.
However, Ings may not want to leave Turf Moor if Burnley gain promotion to the Premier League, with the Clarets currently sitting in second, eight points above third place Derby County.
Ings was the subject of Premier League bids in January, however, Burnley turned down deals from West Ham United, and Crystal Palace.
