Frenchman hates Manchester culture
Anthony Martial has admitted he hates the food and weather in the city of Manchester.
Martial joined Man United last summer from Monaco, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists in 31 games, proving to the United fans he can live up to his £36million price-tag.
However, off the field it’s a different story for the France international who has admitted he’s struggling to come to terms with the British food and weather.
When asked about his likes and dislikes by French newspaper L’Equipe, he explained his ‘bad list’ was: “Manchester weather, cooking when I’m tired and English cuisine.”
However, United fans need not worry about him seeking a summer transfer as he confirmed in his ‘good list’ that he’s still loving his football.
“Football. It sounds simple but it’s always been the case – I don’t see myself living without playing,” he added.
Spending time with his family, horror movies and playing video games also featured on his ‘good list’.
