Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his concern over their hectic fixtures after the completion of the international break.

The North Londoners have been handed a tough schedule of games starting from the end of this month. Renovation work at the new stadium has been going in full swing and Spurs’ Premier League clash with Manchester City has been deferred to October 29 to accommodate the fixture at the Wembley.

To make the matters worse they now will have to face West Ham United in the Carabao Cup th verye next day. They will then travel to midlands to take on Wolves and the nine day long tenure ends with a face off with PSV Eindhoven.

Pochettino said, “The circumstances this season are so tough,”

“Look what is going to happen in the Carabao Cup. We are going to play Monday in Wembley against Manchester City and then we must play on Wednesday or Thursday, and then we must play Saturday and Tuesday in the Champions League. That is completely unfair for a team that wants to win some titles.

“Of course, we need to deal with that and that is why this will be the most difficult season for us.”
