Paul Scholes is pretty surprised to find out Manchester United haven’t relieved Jose Mourinho of his duty following their shocking defeat at the hands of West Ham United.

Mourinho’s position at the club has been under severe questions following United’s worst possible start to the season. The Portuguese manager’s reportedly estranged relationship with some of the players have taken a toll on United’s results and the Reds are winless in their last three matches.

Red Devils crashed to a 3-1 defeat to West Ham United and any more setbacks in the comings would dent a severe blow to their Premier League hopes. There have been rumours of Zinedine Zidane being contacted for a possible job at the club but it seems for the time being the club hierarchy is pinning their hopes on the former Chelsea manager.

Schools said, “I’m surprised he survived after Saturday.

“The performance was that bad. The attitude and performance were nowhere near.

“He’s coming out in press conference, he is constantly having a go at players, he’s having a go at people above him because he is not getting what he wants.

“I think his mouth is probably out of control and I think he’s embarrassing the club.”
