Liverpool are ready to go head-to-head with Manchester United in the battle to sign PSV starlet, Memphis Depay.
The 21-year-old has impressed for the runaway Dutch Eredivisie leaders, having netted 19 goals for PSV this season, form which has attracted interest from English eyes.
Manchester United had previously been keen on the starlet, with Louis Van Gaal ready to pounce for his compatriot.
Though according to Goal.com, Liverpool are willing to match any bid for Depay, with Brendan Rodgers keen to add to his attacking options.
Depay is under contract with PSV until summer 2018, however sources within the club claim that they would be willing to listen to offers.
