Tottenham Hotspur can go all the way and win the Premier League this season, according to their defender Michael Dawson.
After 11 games, Spurs are currently sitting in seventh on 20-points, but their captain is confident that they will be back in the top-four soon, and once they are, they can then push on to challenge for the title come May.
A shock home defeat last weekend to Newcastle United have left Andre Villas-Boas’ men five points behind league leaders Arsenal, but Dawson is adamant that they are still genuine title contenders.
‘Our expectations are high.’
‘There’s no hiding at the start of the season. Our aim was to be in the top four. That hasn’t changed.
‘But we aim high and we believe that we have got the squad – and the quality in the dressing room – to go all the way.’
