Lucas Ocampos on Blues radar in potential £25million deal
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is said to be keen to sign Argentinian starlet, Lucas Ocampos, one of the most talented young stars in Europe.
According to reports, Chelsea have started work on drawing up a deal that will bring the Monaco forward to Stamford Bridge.
It is thought Monaco would want at least £25million for his signature.
The 20-year-old from Buenos Aires made his debut for River Plate at the tender age of 17, quickly establishing himself in the first team. After making a dramatic impression in South America he moved to the French League in 2012 after he caught the eye of the scouts at Monaco.
A lightning-fast player, who can play on either wing or up front, Ocampos is known for his deceptive dribbling and quick footwork. He is also blessed with great technique and posseses a strong shot with either foot. At 6’2″ he is also a dangerous threat from set plays.
