The agent of Barcelona full-back Marco Montoya has claimed that his client is keen on a move to the Premier League.
The 23-year old defender has slipped down the pecking order at the Nou Camp in recent weeks, with the soon to be departed Daniel Alves currently picked ahead of him.
And the rumours of Montoya’s unhappiness at the Catalan club have alerted both Arsenal and Liverpool, in the battle for his signature, with the January transfer window just weeks away.
Juan De Dios Carrasco said on his client’s happiness: “Martin Montoya wants to leave Barcelona.
“The coach decides who plays, but if Martin does not play he will leave.
“We do not want to argue about who is to blame, it is just important that Montoya wants to go already.”
