Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has confirmed that Eden Hazard will be signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international has been strongly linked with a move away from the club in recent months, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain both interested in signing him.
However, in his press conference, Mourinho confirmed that he expects the deal to be signed and announced soon.
‘It will be done soon. But I’m not worried because they are almost there,’ he said.
The 23-year-old has had a superb career in West London since arriving from Lille, and with his current deal expiring in 2017, the club’s officials were keen on him signing an extension.
