Marquee signing could be on his way to Old Trafford

Spanish reports claims United are prepared to make an opening offer worth £31.2million for the German World Cup winner.
Newly-appointed United manager Jose Mourinho reportedly sees Kroos as his ‘dream signing’ and has instructed the board to do whatever it takes to land him this summer.
His arrival would probably spell the end of Bastian Schweinsteiger’s short stay at the club, with his first season since his signing last summer has been plagued with injury.
The Portuguese boss is reportedly keen to offload the ageing midfielder, who is said to be taking home an astronomical £275,000 a week in wages.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane would prefer to keep Kroos at the Bernabeu, but would be willing to listen to offers of at least £35m as they look to raise cash for Juventus’ Paul Pogba.
