Mourinho looks for Costa’s partner

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will wait until after the World Cup to pick the elite striker that will partner Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge next season.

The Blue’s have already agreed a ÂŁ35 million pound deal for the Atletico Madrid forward, but have not stopped searching for another hitman.

The trio of Loic Remy,Wilfried Bony and Romelu Lukaku are all being monitored by Chelsea to see who fits the bill to partner Costa upfront.

Lukaku is back at Chelsea after his impressive loan-spell at Everton, but Mourinho is still in the process of deciding whether to give the striker a chance to prove his worth.

It does seem likely that Mourinho will search elsewhere and it is understood that both Remy and Bony are favourites of the Portugese man.

Bony has admitted that a move to Chelsea would be a ‘dream’ of his and with Remy seeking Champions League football, both players are expected to move on once the window opens.

Mourinho knows that Arsenal have also been hot on the trail of the pair, but hopes that the signing of Costa will turn the heads of the forwards and see them as a force to be reckoned with.
