Chelsea mananger Jose Mourinho has hit out at his Manchester City counterpart Manuel Pellegrini, in a war of words between the pair.
The duo have been embroiled in a rather heated war of words, as Pellegrini labelled Chelsea a ‘small team’ following the 1-1 draw between the two sides at the Etihad Stadium last Sunday.
And Mourinho has hit back in typical Mourinho fashion, in a pre match press conference before tomorrow’s Premier League fixture at home to Aston Villa.
“It is not once but two or three times that he has told everyone he doesn’t speak about referees: yet he killed Mark Clattenburg.”
Mourinho added: “Then three or four times he says he doesn’t speak about me or my teams: and he has done it once more. It’s for others to assess this.
“When I say I don’t want to speak about him, that’s what I try to do.”
