Mourinho: Top teams cannot afford Mbappe

Jose Mourinho believes that even the world’s top football clubs cannot afford to sign Kylian Mbappe. The French wonder-kid has taken the world by storm through his performances for PSG and for France in the World Cup. Mbappe has been in terrific form for PSG this season. In 35 appearances across all competitions, the 20-year old has scored 31 goals and has provided 15 assists.

Several top clubs including Real Madrid are interested in signing Mbappe. However, Jose Mourinho believes that Mbappe is “unbuyable”. The Portuguese said, “I don’t tell he is now the best player of the world. But in my opinion, he’s the one with the most important market value today. If I was manager in a club, I would not even think of Kylian Mbappe because he’s unbuyable, inaccessible. If anyone wants to try buying him, good luck!”

Mbappe scored his 11th goal for France during their Euro 2020 qualifying opener against Moldova at Chisinau on Friday. Mbappe will most likely make his 30th appearance for France tonight when they play their second Euro qualifier against Iceland.
