The Chelsea boss publicly criticised her last week

Jose Mourinho will not be punished for his comments about Eva Carneiro after she treated Eden Hazard last week, according to the Express.

The Blues boss was not happy that Carneiro – and Jon Fearn – went onto the pitch in the club’s game last week to treat Eden Hazard. The Special One insisted that they not go on to help him as he wasn’t hurt but they went to treat him anyway.

It led to Mourinho claiming the two of them were naive and didn’t understand the game. Carneiro in particular now faces an uncertain future, with her role at the club having been significantly reduced and she could very well end up out of a job.

Under the Premier League’s Code of Conduct (Rule 7) it claims that “A manager shall not make public any unfair criticism of any match official or any other manager or any player, official or employee of his or another club.”

Despite Mourinho going against this rule, he will not face any punishment.
