Napoli head coach Gattuso is adamant about not letting City target Koulibaly go.

Kalidou Koulibaly is being pursued by Man City. However, Napoli is not willing to give him away unless a higher price is met for the centre back.

However, Gattuso told Sky Sport Italia: “Koulibaly has a precise asking price, and if the club doesn’t get the money it is asking for, then he won’t leave. Further, Man City and Napoli have a bit of a rift between them after Napoli sold Jorginho to Chelsea, instead of City.

Gattuso admitted that Man City does not face them directly after the incident. However, Manchester City is still making an offer for the Senegalese centre back.

“How can we have a normal and calm negotiation with Manchester City to sell Koulibaly?” said De Laurentiis, Napoli Chief.

“They won’t talk directly with us because of the Jorginho deal two years ago.”

Napoli Chief De Laurentiis also told Canale 21: “Koulibaly and [Arkadiusz] Milik are both on their way out, transfer market permitting.

“So, if the transfer market allows us to sell these two excellent players, we will know how to replace them. If not, then we’ll discuss it again next year.”
