Djordje Petrovic’s unexpected journey to Chelsea
Djordje Petrovic, Chelsea’s new signing, expressed his surprise at finding himself in the iconic blue shirt of the London club. Petrovic, who surged into the spotlight recently owing to Robert Sanchez’s injury, talked about his unexpected journey to Stamford Bridge.
The goalie, who had previously played for Boston in the United States, confessed to being tempted to the attraction of change. “I wanted to change something, to try something new. I heard good things about Boston, a nice city to live,”

“I saw they could sell a goalkeeper to Arsenal. It made me think I could do something similar and come back to Europe. But honestly, I never imagined Chelsea!” Petrovic exclaimed.
