Newcastle United are keen on departing Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, if he takes a substancial pay cut.
The Denmark intetnational will leave Arsenal once his contract expires in a few weeks.
Bendtner scored twice in eight games for Arsenal last season, however Arsenal decided against offering him a new deal at the North London club.
The striker was frozen out at the gunners, and is already a target for several sides in Europe.
However, with Newcastle keen on a striker, he could be offered Premier League football again.
The striker could have to take a pay cut in order to sign, with the pay cut rumoured to be around ÂŁ12,000.
