Bendter was held by police in Hertfordshire, after he was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to a gym in a luxury block of flats.
Bendter has been been cautioned by the police, which means he will not be required to attend court.
The event was caught on CCTV in the luxury apartment block, and shows a group of people gathered around the gym door, with two men trying to kick down the gym door.
Bendter claims that the door was stuck, and tried to open it which caused the damage.
‘We thought the door was stuck so we tried to open it and it caused some damage’.
‘I apologies for any inconvenience for my neighbours and I have paid in full’.
‘We had no part in damaging anything else in the building’.
‘The matter is closed with the police, and my focus is on tonight’s (Tuesday’s) match.’
