Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is eager to help the club win titles once again, despite many of the fans not supporting the Danish international.

The controversial forward has worked his way back in Arsene Wenger’s plans after spending two seasons away on loan at Sunderland and Juventus, however, not many of the fans are appreciating Bendtner’s efforts at the club.

The Dane was set to leave in the Summer, but on numerous occasions, deals fell through due to his high wage demands and since then, he has been making brief appearances for the club, including a start against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.

However, after the hour mark, he was booed off by the home fans, but despite the bad reaction, he has insisted that he wants to win for the team.

Bendtner said: ‘At the moment I’m doing everything I can to help the team win trophies, as we all are.

‘I’ve always had strong feelings towards the club and respected the club and that’s something I will never lose.

‘I’m still here, I’m not sad about it. I don’t regret it. I’m here, part of the group and as professional as any other player.

‘That’s not just words, you can see it in my matches, in my training and in my commitment.’
