The Columbian shot stopper could be set for a return to France this summer.

Having only joined the Gunner’s 12 months ago, it appears Ospina could well be on the move again, with the imminent arrival of Petr Cech set to hamper the Columbian’s chances of first team football.

Having spent only ÂŁ3 million on the World Cup star, Arsenal only managed to get 20 appearances out of Ospina last season, only beginning to start after Wojech Szczesny fell out of favour with Arsene Wenger.

Cech In/Ospina Out

A string of impressive performances saw Ospina cement his place in the starting line-up, but the now seemingly inevitable arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea, with the Czech Republic captain set for his medical at the club today, Ospina may feel he should go elsewhere for first team football.

Ospina is also believed to be a target for Turkish side Fenerbache, with the Turks believing they can land the shot stopper of ÂŁ4 million; only a million more than The Gunners spent on the keeper initially.

This news comes just days after Ospina’s outstanding display in the Copa America as Columbia crashed out to Argentina in the quarter finals. The Arsenal man pulled of a superb double save in the first half denying Sergio Aguero, before getting up and diving to save a Lionel Messi header.

In  the second half, he showed his athleticism, diving at full stretch in the blink of an eye to thwart Otamendi’s goal bound shot.
