Chelsea youngster Mario Pasalic is set to tie up a deal to sign for Spanish La Liga side Elche.
Pasalic, aged 19 is highly rated in Europe, and signed for Chelsea last month, from Croatian club Hajduk Split for an undislosed fee.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to loan out the German born midfielder, who has been compered to Luka Modric.
And Spanish La Liga side Elche seems to be the destination of choice, with the Spanish clubs president confirming that a deal is close.
And Elche’s president, Jose Sepulcre, has now confirmed that deal for Pasalic is imminent.
“It was a productive trip. It was good meeting with a huge club like Chelsea and hopefully will confirm what I was discussing there,” Sepulcre said at a press conference.
